Borderless Typeface
Merriam-Webster’s dictionary defines border as “an outer part or edge”. A border can define confine the boundaries of many things from geometrical shapes to countries. As it is only a man-made imaginary line, it can take any desired shape that its creator desireswants. Many typefaces dictate a certain shape for every letter, number or punctuation mark. We designed a shapeshifting typeface that denies all borders. So, every letter can take a form according to the shape of its neighboring adjacent letters and words. This means, every letter, word and sentence possibly has an infinite number of forms and every piece of text written with this typeface is a unique composition.
The “Borderless Typeface” was awarded the Best Typeface Design at the 35th Graphic Design Awards (GMK Awards).
